On August 3, SIAM Brothers Vietnam, in collaboration with the Vietnam Law Newspaper, organized the "Lighting the Sea with Fishermen" program in Thái Bình Province. This meaningful initiative aims to support and accompany fishermen who tirelessly venture out to sea every day.
The program not only provided practical gifts to fishermen facing difficult circumstances but also conveyed an important message about complying with IUU (Illegal, Unreported, and Unregulated) fishing regulations. This is a crucial step towards lifting the "yellow card" from the European Commission, protecting marine resources, and fostering sustainable development in Vietnam's fisheries industry.
Commitment to Supporting Fishermen
SIAM Brothers Vietnam is committed to always accompanying fishermen in complying with legal regulations, ensuring safety and efficiency in fishing operations. Through this program, we aim to raise community awareness about the importance of protecting the marine environment and seafood resources.
Delivering Encouragement to Fishermen
The program delivered many meaningful gifts to disadvantaged fishermen, providing them with additional motivation and confidence in their journey at sea. These gifts not only carry material value but also reflect the community's concern and support, serving as a significant source of encouragement for the fishermen.
Spreading Hope and Faith
The "Lighting the Sea with Fishermen" program has fostered tremendous empathy and support from across the country. This is an opportunity for us to light up hope together, overcome all challenges, and maintain our faith in the vast ocean.
Let's join SIAM Brothers Vietnam in taking action for a bright and sustainable future for Vietnam's fisheries industry!
